Cancellation and refund policy

How cancelling works for each AEOLedger service, and when you get money back. This page summarises the refund terms in our Master Services Agreement; a signed SOW applies if it says otherwise.

AI Visibility Snapshot

The snapshot is free, so there is nothing to pay or refund.

AI Visibility Audit

  • The Audit is paid 100% upfront, before fieldwork begins.
  • Before fieldwork begins: you can cancel for a full refund.
  • If we can't start on the agreed kickoff date and you'd rather not wait: full refund.
  • After fieldwork begins: the work is done by hand on your prompt set, so the fee isn't refundable. If you stop the Audit part-way, we send you everything completed so far.
  • If we miss the delivery date: we keep working at no extra cost and credit 20% of the fee (see the service terms).

Launch-partner credit

The $750 credit towards a Foundation Sprint is a credit, not cash. It applies only to a Sprint booked within 30 days of receiving the Audit.

Foundation Sprint

  • Before kickoff: cancel for a full refund of anything paid.
  • After kickoff: either party can end the Sprint by email. You pay for the work completed up to that date, and we refund any amount you've paid beyond it.

Growth Retainer

  • The minimum term is three months. After that, either party can end it with 30 days' notice.
  • A month that has already started isn't refunded. Any month paid in advance that hasn't started is refunded in full.

If we end an engagement

If we end an engagement for any reason other than a breach on your side, we refund fees you've prepaid for work not yet performed.

What refunds don't cover

We don't guarantee what AI assistants say, so refunds aren't based on how assistants name, rank or cite you after the work. They are based on whether we delivered the agreed scope on time.

How to cancel or ask for a refund

  • Email hello@aeoledger.com with your invoice number. We confirm within 2 business days.
  • Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency invoiced, within 7 business days of approval. Your bank's processing time may add a few days.
  • Bank and transfer charges, and any exchange-rate difference, aren't refunded.
